About Our Chapter

The Pensacola Area Chapter of ASTD normally meets the 4th Monday of every month from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. On Monday, April 26th we will meet at The Fish House located at 600 S. Barracks St. Pensacola, FL 32502.

Our meetings begin with networking and chapter business. We then provide a program on a topic of interest to our members. Some of our most recent topics have included coaching and managing performance, SAT/ISD applications for commercial training, intercultural communication, and online sharing tools. ASTD Chapter Operating Requirements (CORE) are a set of performance guidelines designed to help chapters deliver consistent benefits to members. CORE consists of elements in five key areas: administration, financial, membership, professional development, and communication, which are necessary for running a chapter like a business.
